Andrew Slugg

Andrew Slugg is the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at Alnylam, the leading RNAi therapeutics company.  At Alnylam, Andrew has helped usher forth a new class of medicines as a part of the teams that have led to the global approvals of the company’s first four RNAi therapeutics.  Immediately prior to joining Alnylam in 2016, Andrew served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at ARIAD where he helped the company develop and commercialize its first two products to treat rare cancers.  He has over 20 years of drug development experience working in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Clinical Operations. 

 

Inspired by mission-driven and patient-focused work, Andrew enjoys the intersection of science, health policy, and collaboration that comes with working in Regulatory Affairs.  He holds degrees from Bates College, The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Babson College.
